Hedera's identity was "secure enterprise chain." That identity just got cracked. Not beyond repair, but cracked enough that every potential partner will now ask for proof of security.

The question I'm pondering as I finish this analysis is not whether Hedera will survive. It will. The council has resources, talent, and incentive to fix this. The real question is whether the broader industry learns the right lesson. We cannot keep deploying bridges as if they're plumbing.
